Stirling John BIO

Stirling John is an Ojibwa, inspirational, Country artist from Saugeen First

Nation in Ontario, now based in Alberta. His music blends heartfelt country

storytelling with messages of hope, resilience, and reconciliation. Stirling’s artistry

and advocacy have earned him recognition across Canada, including a 2024

JUNO nomination and multiple honors from the Western Canadian Music Awards,

He is a dedicated advocate for Indigenous youth. Also, he works with First Nation

communities nationwide and founded the Stirling John Foundation for Youth

Empowerment, mentoring youth through creativity and reconciliation. With

nearly two decades as an RCMP officer, his frontline experiences shape songs

addressing real-life struggles. A 2024 JUNO nominee, Stirling has earned

multiple music awards and performed at major events including Calgary

Stampede, Edmonton’s K Days, and Summerfolk.
